Route

From Wootton Bridge car park, take care as you walk the short distance along the roadside, as the road crosses the Avon Water. The inclosure gate is on your right just after the bridge. 

 Go through the gate and, after 400m, the path forks. Take the gravel cycle path to the right.

There is a crossroads of paths after another 650m. Follow the path straight on at cycle marker post number 188 as it gently climbs in to Brownhill Inclosure. Continue as the path loops round until you reach the cycle marker post number 181.

Turn right and continue for 300m. Then take take a left turn and follow the path for 900m, until you come to a crossroads of paths with a bridge on your left. Take the path straight ahead. This is a rougher forest track than the gravel tracks up to this point.

After 300m turn right and rejoin the gravel path back to the inclosure entrance gate.
