Sway – Brockenhurst

Starting from either village, you’ll wind your way along forest tracks before discovering the history – and tea shops – in each village

A circular route linking two popular New Forest villages - making a challenging walk through woodland inclosures and with heathland views.

Bird spotters and history buffs alike will enjoy this riverside walk along the tidal stretch of the Beaulieu River, ending at the famous shipbuilding village of Bucklers Hard.

Hop off the train at Ashurst and catch another train home at Brockenhurst – while enjoying the forest’s woods and heathland in between.
