New Forest Marque said: “Breakfast is the perfect meal to showcase a range of this quality produce in one place, and the aim is to give everyone the chance to experience a truly local breakfast, and also demonstrate how easy it is to ‘support local’.
“New Forest food and drink producers are up against the supermarkets but local produce is a better choice all round – less distance travelled so nutrients retained and less carbon footprint, traceable, higher quality as not mass produced, and shopping local helps to boost the nearby economy.”
